The Port of Siquijor, in the capital town of Siquijor, is described by the provincial tourism office as the main gateway for tourists, since ships and fast craft from Dumaguete City dock there. The Port of Larena, in Larena, is the island's major commercial port and is generally described as the larger of the two.
\nDumaguete City, on neighboring Negros island, is the departure point most visitors use. Boats also link Siquijor with other Visayan ports, but operators and routes change over time, so confirm them with the operator before planning around them.
